The team at Interim Business Solutions would like to wish you and your family a peaceful and safe holiday period. Thank you for your support and being part of our community during 2016. We’d like to wish you all the very best for a healthy and prosperous 2017.

During November we will celebrate another Biz birthday. It’s been 8 years since we opened our doors offering business administration support. Come and help us celebrate for your chance to win 3 hours free virtual support!

I am totally tooting my own trumpet today but I have something really exciting to share with you!

Interim Business Solutions has reached another milestone – 202 Twitter inquiries! I was going to share this with you at the 200 mark but another 2 jumped in so quickly and I wanted to acknowledge them too. Thanks to all of you who have helped me reach this amazing milestone in my business.

We are very pleased to say we have been nominated for the second year in a row for the Telstra Business Women’s Awards 2013. We have in the past been Telstra Business Awards Nominees for 2011, 2012 and 2013.

I’d like to take this moment to thank you for being a part of the Interim Business Solutions community during the year. If you’re a client reading this – thank you for the work you’ve tossed our way. If you’re a supplier or a contractor reading this – thank you for…

I’ve now been in business for almost 7 years. The 24 November will mark this milestone and I have always monitored where all leads come from. The statistics became increasingly interesting back in early 2009, soon after I joined social media. I then decided to blog about the astounding results early 2010.

Take a look at where the leads and conversions have come from to date.

I know I have experienced countless successes during my lifetime. One’s life brings many milestones and each is welcomed as a success plus the achievements in between!

The biggest learning curve was at the age of 25, I was asked to implement a Quality Management System into a Printing company. I knew nothing about QA, nothing about business and nothing about printing but I thought, ‘What the heck, what have I got to lose?’…

Alliance for Virtual Businesses - Australian ChapterI was approached some weeks ago now and asked if I’d be interested in joining a number of prominent Australian Virtual Assistants to form a Steering Committee. Firstly, I was flattered to be considered amongst the line up of virtual assistants who were listed on this email. Secondly, the Steering Committee was in relation to forming the foundations of the ‘Alliance for Virtual Businesses (A4VB) – Australian Chapter’ and how wonderful and exciting for the industry here in Australia.

OIVAC Virtual Assistant Award NominationLast week I was thrilled to receive an unexpected email in my inbox with the subject line reading ‘Congratulations!”.

There’s award Nominations coming from all directions! I have now also been nominated for the 2011 ‘Thomas Leonard International Virtual Assistant of Distinction Award’. I’m thrilled and a little humbled, to be lining up amongst other incredible nominees. The winner will be announced on Friday, 19 May (Saturday morning EST AU time) during the International Virtual Assistants Day (IVAD) which forms part of OIVAC – Online International Virtual Assistants Convention.

I was extremely chuffed to have my business recently nominated for the Telstra Business Awards by someone anonymous. I know for a fact, that some nominate their own business or get friends or family to but this is not the situation here. That doesn’t quite sit right with me. I can only hope the nomination has come from a satisfied client who has witnessed the growth Interim Business Solutions has experienced in the past twelve months.
